Pineapple, Passionfruit and Pumpkin Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are a great way to pack in additional serves of vegetables into your daily nourishment. The creamy texture of puréed butternut pumpkin blends beautifully with frozen pineapple and fresh banana, to give you a delicious and nutritious wholesome meal. You could enjoy this meal as a fruity beverage, or serve this smoothie in a bowl and top with fresh raspberries, strawberries, pomegranate, sliced banana, chopped pistachios and our Almond and Quinoa Clusters.

Pineapple, Passionfruit & Pumpkin Smoothie Bowl

INGREDIENTS


SMOOTHIE BASE

  • 1 banana

  • 1 cup pumpkin purée, frozen

  • 1.5 cups frozen pineapple

  • 1 Passionfruit

  • 3 teaspoons (tsp) lemon juice

TOPPINGS

  • Raspberries

  • Strawberries

  • Pomegranate

  • Banana

  • 2 tablespoons (Tbs) chopped pistachios

  • Almond & Quinoa Clusters (sub your favourite granola)


Pineapple, Passionfruit and Pumpkin Smoothie Bowl

Instructions

1. Add smoothie bowl base ingredients into a food processor, or high speed blender, and mix until a creamy consistency is achieved.

2. Transfer mixture into desired serving bowls.*

3. Top with fresh fruit, nuts, seeds or granola.

4. Enjoy!


ADDITIONAL NOTES:

* Depending on your preferred smoothie bowl consistency, you may like to transfer the smoothie bowl into a freezer for 15-30 minutes to chill.
