Berry & Beetroot Smoothie Bowl

Beetroot for breakfast? Yes, you heard correctly. This sweet and sour creation takes smoothie bowls to the next level with the subtle earthy flavours and vibrant magenta hues of beetroot, enriching this wholesome meal with nourishing goodness.

Serves: 2 portions

Vegan Raspberry and Beetroot Plant-Based Smoothie Bowl G.M.GLOBAL



  • 2 cups frozen berries (such as blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries)

  • 1 banana

  • 1 beetroot, puréed and frozen

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • 1 tablespoon (Tbs) water

  • 1 Tbs maple syrup


  • 1 banana

  • 4 Tbs toasted Hazelnuts

  • 3 Tbs toasted coconut flakes

  • 1 passionfruit

  • Fresh strawberries

  • Your favourite home-made granola or any additional nuts and seeds


1. Add smoothie ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor and combine until a creamy and uniform consistency is achieved.

2. Divide mixture between desired serving bowls.

3. Add toppings.

4. Enjoy!
